I did a lot of sewing this summer, but not a lot of blogging! So for the record, (aka. for my own record), here is what I made using my quarterly Cali Fabric budget as part of their blogging team:

A neon pink Liverpool dress for Cali Fabrics…

A Liesl and Co Rush Hour Dress – I received the new extended size range of this pattern free for review on the Curvy Sewing Collective, and well, I had some things to say about it! Lots of good, and some not so good… I’m disappointed that no one from Liesl ever replied on the CSC or even opened the DM I sent them letting them know my review was up, including some constructive criticism about their approach to the plus community. Oh well.
The fabric was from Cali Fabrics, and involved Sharpies!

A Zadie jumpsuit in Cali Fabrics black liverpool, trimmed with faux leather… and I bet you didn’t see this coming… it was a #sewingdare from Jacinta to “secret cosplay” a Disney Villain!

Can you tell who I’m channeling? It’s a bit of a jumble, but let’s just say I have cat earrings, polka dot shoes, and no animals were harmed in the making of my faux fur stole! This was a hilarious shoot in the park, with lots of odd looks at me and my tripod.

What can I say, I’m easily entertained by a sewing dare!
I’ve got some more things to share, but I’ll put them in a separate post. I’ve done so little blogging lately that I need to ease myself back in!
Good to see you back on the blog! Looking forward to seeing more me-mades. You are very inspiring with your can do attitude and empathy for the community. Tyvm!

Thank you! i’ve missed blogging! I made a conscious decision to let go of a lot of extra things over the summer, to focus on my health, and blogging was one of them. I’m feeling good now though, so I”m back in the game! 😉
