This is always the easiest of the categories for me to write – I mean, I love most of the clothes I make, but when I think back, there are always some favourites!
In no particular order:

My angles dress! This was a RTW knock off, mashing up two TNT patterns, and I love it. If I had to sum up my dream aesthetic for 2018, this would be it: fun, professional, and just a bit weird!

This dress fill the opposite role in my wardrobe: pretty, flattering, and doesn’t demand any attention. I’ve worn it a lot!

Because everyone needs to shake it up from time to time, I’m including my Closet Case Patterns Fiona in my Top 5! It’s not as worn as the other dresses, but it makes me feel great and I’m proud that I made a fitted woven dress with all those buttons!

I should chose at least one thing that isn’t a dress, right? I made a few Tessuti Berlin jackets this year, and I really enjoy the boxy shape. I wear both this ponte version and my pale pink wool version quite a bit!Β

Finally, a rediscovered TNT pattern – the Closet Case Nettie dress! I’ve been moving away from feminine fit-and-flare styles, and really enjoying Nettie as a basic building block. I’ve got one more version coming up at some point that I sewed and photographed before the concussion!
Next up, the misses! Which is always worth a giggle! π
I can see why your angles dress was a top pick. It’s a standout for sure!

It’s been fun figuring out a slightly different style this year! definitely something stronger and bolder. Now I think I need to pass on some of the more fit and flare knit dresses I’ve accumulated over the years! π

What I wanted to say to you is that I love the purple paisley dress. It’s so flattering! Please delete all of my comment if you like though! They make no sense!! Hope you’re well. x

So. many. lovely. things. I love all these outfits, but I really do love the Fiona sundress on you. Such a great shape. And the angles dress – my kind of print mix-up! All gorgeous Gillian!

I love all of the above – you have a great eye for color – but I especially love the wine-colored solid cardigan. It’s lovely! Do you mind me asking what fabric you used for the cardigan? It looks very heavy and drapey and I love it!
